Hi, I’m Jackie Kotei and I'm passionate about helping people step into the spotlight, own their personal power and build momentum around their dreams.
After spending more than 5 years working in the media as a on-air TV reporter and producer, I got tired of all the doom and gloom. I left the industry to start a videography company which ultimately failed because I didn't have the right support and didn't know how to run a successful business. I never actually closed my doors in that company. Instead it died a slow death by me deciding to go back to work.
I took a senior-level position as the spokeswoman, director of media, marketing and crisis communications for one of the leading public safety agencies in the country. That was a life-altering six years of my life because it taught me how to nail any message, even in the midst of controversy and crisis.
During that time I mastered how to get the media's attention (in a good way) and strategically position a message so that it builds massive momentum. Having developed incredible relationships with the media, training others across the nation to do the same and garnering more than 3,000 features in the media, I decided it was time to dedicate my talent and expertise to helping entrepreneurs.
I've always been an entrepreneur at heart. With ten years in the television and media under my belt, I'm now doing what I love which is helping soul-centered entrepreneurs awaken to the power of the media.
My mission is simple - to help change the narrative in the media so that more transformational stories like yours get featured. My reason why? I have two little children and I want them to grow up seeing the best in people when they turn on the TV and watch.
I have now helped more than 100 entrepreneurs do media in a way they can be proud of...all while being a great wife and mom! My clients have been featured on Ted Talks, CNN, Huffington Post, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX...just to name a few.
